1. What kind of school is CHIJ?

CHIJ is a non-formal private vocational school. We teach business-related subjects. We use English as a medium of instruction at our school.

2. What curriculum do we use?

We have designed our own curriculum which is approved by the Ministry of Education. Our subjects are related to the business field. We also have MOU with Pramahatai Suksa School, allowing our students to earn an M6 certificate after completing a 3-year course at CHIJ.

3. Can I reach the school by BTS?

You can come by BTS to Punnvithi station.

4. What are school hours?

Classes are from 7:35 to 14:45. Office hours are 7:30-16:30 (except public holidays).

5. What subjects are taught?

See the website for details of subjects taught for all three years. All subjects are taught in English except Thai subject.

6. What certificate does a CHIJ graduate get?

CHIJ Graduates would earn DUAL CERTIFICATES: our renowned Vocational Certificate along with a High School Certificate in Business Program (Grade 12 Certificate from Pramahatai Suksa School) simultaneously after completing the three-year course of study at CHIJ.

7. How long does the course take to complete?

The course takes 3 years to complete which include 1 month training when the student is in 3rd year.

8. What can I do after CHIJ?

You can go to work straight after graduating from CHIJ. Or you could continue your education in universities of your choice in Thailand or abroad.

9. How can I get M. 6 or equivalent for going to university?

The school arranges for CHIJ students to take MOU with Pramahatai Suksa School, allowing our students to earn an M6 certificate after completing a 3-year course at CHIJ and be able to further their education at the university.

10. How can I apply?

You can apply online. Go to school website, under ‘admissions’ and fill in application form. School office will contact you. Or you can walk in the school and buy the application form.

11. When is the entrance exam?

In December and February. We can open special round upon request. See school calendar for details of dates.

12. Do you accept late enrollment?

Yes. Please contact school office for information and details.

13. How can I prepare for the entrance exam?

Our entrance exam tests the candidate’s English skills in listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary and writing. We have a few questions for simple mathematics as well.

15. Does the school arrange for accommodation?

The school can arrange accommodation for students who live far or are from other provinces.

16. Are there apartments or condos near school?

Yes, there are many apartments and condos near school area.

17. Do we offer scholarships?

Yes, school offers scholarships to current students.

18. Do we have tutorial classes?

Yes, upon request the school can open tutorial classes for subjects taught in school.
